Vacation Bible School
“Under the Sea” was a great success! Many thanks to Pastor Steve, Terri Camp, Sue Citro, Karen Kovacs, Teri Priebe, Sue Wickline, Jessica Nelson, Deanna Powell, Marcia Harding, Karalynne Vitas, Dave Yonkings. Special thanks to Mark Bursley and Lauren Vitas for their scuba demonstrations and whale stories that tied in so nicely with our theme! We had 11 children each evening, and a great time was had by all. The week of faith, learning, and fun included a bounce house and our tie-dye t-shirt activity! Thanks to the Fellowship Committee for providing an Ice Cream Social to wrap up the week with songs and stories.
Generation Zero-Hunger
Our VBS offering this year was designated for the ELCA’s program “Generation Zero-Hunger”. Approximately $140 was collected, and that number is still growing! We have extended the deadline for this campaign to give everyone a chance to donate to help feed hungry children. Please use one of the designated envelopes on the Narthex table or clearly note your envelope and/or check: “Generation Zero-Hunger”.
